Tip #1 - There is no wrong or right in design. We just want to achieve an overall harmony to your space. Choose items and colors that you love and make those the focal points of your space.
Tip #2 - Upholstered goods (sofas, chairs) and fabric window covering treatments are your most expensive purchases - choose your paint colors with your fabrics in mind. Add an accent color to your room. Incorporate a color into your sheets, art work or accessories.
Tip # 3 - Experiment with textures and patterns. Add dimensions to your room by using one texture or pattern as a main focus and one as a secondary focus. We want a harmonious mix that leads the eye throughout the space.
Tip # 4 - Use different shapes. Accent pillows in different shapes & sizes, lamps and accessories that echo your bedding prints will make the room come alive.
Tip # 5 - Finish. Once you've refreshed your paint, bedding, window treatments, add a framed photo of your loved ones. It's a simple touch that keeps you connected with who you love.
